Hello! My name is Jimini and I am an Educational Ambassador. I am also a talking crow! I learned to talk after watching my human teach a parrot. When I was just a young fledgling learning to fly I was taken from the wild by people who thought I could not fly. The truth is that it takes a while to learn and I was quite clumsy. Unfortunately, they treated me like a pet before turning me over to a wildlife rehabilitator. And although I was supposed to be released I did not possess the skills to remain safe. Because they did not call for help until months had passed they basically removed my fear of humans and all things I should be fearful of. Because of that I cannot be released back into the wild. I never learned how to behave like a “regular” crow. So I am here to share my story and teach people the right way to help!
